The Mary Peters Trust Qualifier was down for decision on Sunday with the competitors having to contend with difficult scoring conditions because of the intermittent showers and strong breeze.
21 Handicapper John Paul Doherty coped with the conditions best to finish as leading qualifier with 37 points and in doing so will now represent the Club in the Final at Lisburn Golf Club on Friday 6th September, Jack Mc Ateer finished second with 36 points with Paul Cassidy third after a 34 points break of tie.
