Mr Captain Chris Lynch organized an exceptional Captain’s Day followed by a wonderful Dinner, Prize Presentation and evenings entertainment on Saturday last for Club Members, Guests, Family and Friends and a big thank you is extended to him from all who were in attendance. The competition for the honor of winning the Captains Prize was intense on a balmy hot day with the Ballyarnett course in exceptional condition making for wonderful scoring, and the Coveted Captain’s Prize Winner was decided after a 43pts two way break of tie in favor of 21 handicapper Paul Dunn virtue of his exceptional 26pts on the back 9 leaving Runner Up Cormac Cassidy to regret his three putt on the last hole.
