Club Captain Mr Cyril Ming held a very successful Alternative Captains Day on Saturday last with a full time sheet from 7.30am until the last competitors teed off at 6.10pm with the large entry enjoying excellent conditions with hot sunny weather and with Graeme having the course set up perfectly and in pristine condition everything was in order for a very enjoyable day.
With the course set up for good scoring 21 Handicapper Ronnie Kennedy certainly obliged with an excellent winning score of 44 points, a single point adrift in second place was Gary Jackson after a 43 points break of tie with third placed David Wilson.
Highlight of the day was a perfectly struck tee shot at the par three thirteenth hole where Dean Carlyle holed out for his ace witnessed by playing partners Liam Quigg, Aaron Gallagher and Gareth Quigg.
