The very successful OPEN Week came to a conclusion on Saturday last with the Henderson Foodservice Stableford and it followed the norm for all the weeks competitions with another excellent entry as 13 handicapper Jason Murray equaled the best score of the week a fine 40 points when winning the weeks last Open.
Weather for the most part was very good except for two evenings but it certainly didn’t deter the golfers as they continued to play on a course in splendid condition as Graeme had the greens running fast and true and the course set up fair but a very good test from the back tees.
The prizes were evenly distributed with the Visitors gaining their fair share as visitors from Ballyliffin, Buncrana, City of Derry, Dundalk, Faughan Valley, Greenacres & Redcastle all featured on the prize lists.
