Open Week got underway on Saturday with the J.K.C. Specialist Cars Stableford and Tony Mc Monagle struck an early blow for the higher handicap golfers when winning the event with a fine score of 41 points, one handicapper Paul Mc Guigan continued his recent excellent form as he negotiated the Ballyarnett course in a magnificent three under gross from the back tee’s, finishing runner up with 40 points with Martin Mc Eleney returning 39 points for a third place finish.
