Open Week got underway on Saturday with 130 competitors taking to the pristine Ballyarnett fairways for the J.K.C. Specialist Cars Stableford and the talented David Meehan certainly brought his A game to the course with an excellent winning score of 45pts five point clear of newcomer Gavin Canning in second on 40pts, and along with the winners prize David also gained a four shot reduction in his playing handicap.
