The P.F.S. Accountants Qualifying Pairs took center stage last week as 50 plus pairs turned out hoping to secure one of the 32 places on offer in the Pairs Match Play Club Championship and with the new 9/10 handicap allowance now in force for betterball competitions, the scoring was of the highest order with David Wilson & Dermott Harkin taking the best qualifiers accolade with an outstanding 48 points. Closely followed in second place after a two way 47 points break of tie was Declan Ryan & Rob Ewing.
