The P.F.S Accountants singles qualifier attracted a large entry with 117 players taking to the well manicured Ballyarnett fairways hoping to secure one of the 64 places on offer in the Club Singles Match Play Championship, with Mark Mc Intyre returning an excellent nett 62 to claim the leading qualifiers prize and in doing so will have attracted the Handicap Committee’s attention, the runner’s up spot was filled by Club Treasurer Jackie Thomas after a welcome return to form with a fine nett 62.
