Wednesday’s P.F.S. Accountants Sponsored Open Stableford was well supported with the competitors enduring some sharp showers, which certainly were no deterrent to Conor O’ Doherty as the 19 handicapper returned a magnificent winning score of 47 points eight points clear of the field and has now reduced his playing handicap by eight shots from the beginning of the competitive season, Hon. Treasurer Jackie Thomas continues to show good form with a fine score of 39 points to take the runners up accolade, as playing partner Philip Smyth finished in third place with 36 points.
