P & L Electrics Golfer of the Year

September 29, 2020

It was a real family affair for the Mc Namara house-hold last week as father and son remarkably clinched both the Senior and Junior Golfer of the Year titles.
As the Covet-19 disrupted 2020 qualifying season neared a conclusion, the coveted Golfer of the Year titles were decided on the Ballyarnett fairways
Ronan Mc Namara finished his P & L Electrics Golfer of the Year campaign with a fantastic overall winning total of 322 points- 11 points ahead of runner-up, the in-form Cormac Mc Geady.
Not to be outdone by his father, talented 12 year-old Samuel Lee/Mc Namara produced the goods in the Junior Golfer of the Year competition after 38 rounds with the best 8 nett scores counting.
Samuel, who has enjoyed an outstanding season, won the title by an impressive 24 points ahead of runner-up Tiernan Dunn.
