The Pauls Butchers Sponsored Club Classic took center stage at the Club last week with the teams of four any combination competition having two scores to count at each hole and all four scores counting at two hidden holes attracting a very good entry.
Kevin Henderson, Chris Forbes, Dane Mc Cafferty and Steven Kivelehan were the dominant team with an excellent score of 104 points to take the winners accolade but were pursued all the way by John Coyle, Jim Mc Grotty, Harry Wright and Kevin Dunn who finished in second place two points adrift on a 102 points total, John Spence, Damien Kivelehan, Kevin O’ Kane and Scott Kennedy finished in third place with 96 points, with the leading Ladies team consisting of Lady Captain Florence Rankin, Myra Gough, Agnes Mc Laughlin and Margaret Killen finishing with a good score of 91 points.
