Team Nine have taken an early lead in the qualifying section of the Pauls Butchers sponsored Spring League which has got underway with a fine score of 98 points after the first cards were returned.
The leaders who include Stephen Radcliffe, Paul Maxwell, Stephen Moran and Niall Cassidy, currently have a two point cushion on nearest challengers, Team six.
The qualifying section of the league will run until March 20th with the best six from ten cards counting and the top eight qualifiers will take part in the Match Play.
With eight weeks still remaining in the qualifying, there is still plenty of time to enter a team.
