Team 11 returned the best score in round six of the Pauls Butchers’ Spring League and lead the qualifying section by three points with four more cards to play, with the teams having to better their lowest scores.
Team 11, consisting of Kevin Dunn, Harry Wright, Damien Martin and Paul Dunn returned a fine score of 90 points in their sixth and last full counting round for a six round total of 525 points and now hold a three point lead over Team 5, Michael Henry, Kevin Mc Dermott, Martin Moran and Charlie Mc Dermott
As the the teams have returned their last full counting cards it will certainly make for a very competitive finish to the qualifying section as the teams have to better their lowest scores in the final four rounds.
