With the teams in the Pauls Butchers Spring League now having played their sixth and last full counting round in the Qualifying section of the league before they start dropping their lowest scores in the last four rounds it certainly looks like being a very competitive last four weeks as the teams strive to gain one of the eight places on offer in the Match Play.
Team 3, Damien Martin, Kevin Dunn, Kevin Thomas and Paul Dunn continue to lead after six rounds with an accumulated total of 536 points as Team 15, Ian Mc Gowan, Declan Ryan, Rob Ewing and David Hudson continue to chase them down after a sixth round score of 92 points they have reduced the gap to a slender two points with another four rounds to play and at this stage in the Qualifying it is still to early to predict who will come through to compete in the Match Play for the coveted Spring League Title.
