With the seventh round cards returned in the Pauls Butchers Spring League Qualifying, and with the teams now dropping their lowest scores, it’s certainly becoming a very a very competitive qualifying section with just three points separating the leading five teams.
With three rounds still to play it is going to be a very close finish for the eight places on offer in the match play stages.
Team 1, consisting of Gary Jackson, Gary Mc Elroy, Michael Coyle and Ciaran O’ Doherty return to the top of the of the qualifying table albeit virtue of their 94 points round for an accumulated seven round total of 562 points – a total matched by Teams two and four who are in second and third places respectively.
Meanwhile, Team 5, which consists of Cormac Mc Geady, Niall Mc Geown, Damian Mc Colgan and Mark Doherty are now in fourth place, one point adrift after returning the best score of the round – an excellent 98 points for an accumulated total of 561 points.
