Foyle Ladies hosted the clubs “Pink Day Open” on Thursday 6th October, in aid of Cancer Focus NI. The day proved to be successful with 36 ladies playing and 50 men playing in the men’s competition on the Friday. The event managed to raise £851 for Cancer Focus NI.
Gena Porter from Redcastle took top honours returning a fine score of 38 points, two points clear of runner up Lorna Thompson. The visitor’s prize went to Colette Campbell from Greencastle. The beautiful prizes were generously sponsored by Lady President Avril Gallagher and Mrs Angela Crumley.
