With eight cards returned in the Pitchers Spring League and with the six best cards from ten counting the teams are now dropping their lowest scores and this is having a significant effect on the competition for the top eight places in the match play section of the league, team eight Mark Doherty, Ciaran O’ Doherty, John Jennings and Dermott Harkin still lead the qualifying by a slender two point margin over team five, with two more cards to play there is still at least sixteen teams in with a chance of making the top eight places.
