The 2022 Precise Protect Insurance League Final took center stage on Saturday as the Qualifying Teams turned out to compete for the coveted title and other five prizes on offer.
The teams were greeted with a fine day with the course presented in pristine condition [Thanks Graeme] so everything was set up for good scoring and a competitive Final, and they certainly did not disappoint as excellent scoring was the order of the day.
Team 14, Dermot Harkin and Darren Hogan produced an excellent winning score of 49 points to claim the coveted title by a single point from Team 42, Andrew Temple and Dermott Harkin who finished on 48 points a score good enough to win on another day, as Team 33, Michael Anderson and John A Lafferty finished third with 46 points
