The re-scheduled St Patricks Day Open Stableford was held on Saturday with the 90 plus competitors taking to the Ballyarnett fairways for the first Open Competition of the 2017 Season rewarded with a fabulous day on a course in fine condition even though the competition was being played from the back tees high scoring was the order of the day, with 21 handicapper James Mc Daid getting his competitive season of to a great start with an excellent wining score of 42 points, second and third places were decided after a two way 40 points break of tie which was decided on the back six holes in favour of Michael Dunn with John Duffy finishing in third place.
