Saturday’s Ryans Carpets Sponsored Open Stableford attracted a very good entry with the competitors enjoying favorable playing conditions which Martin Kivelehan made full use off as he negotiated the Ballyarnett layout in 71 shots from the back tees for his excellent level par 40 points winning score with Sean Mc Eleney finishing as runner-up one point adrift on a fine score of 39 points as Michael Grey finished in third place a further point adrift on 38 points.
