Sunday’s Crumley Construction Monthly Medal was played in a mixed bag of weather with the early starters having to endure wet conditions but again the scoring was of a very high standard.
Stephen Martin excelled with an outstanding 67 gross made up of a level par front nine followed by four under par on the back nine for a nett 66 and winning score in the low category which will also see his handicap return to scratch the next time he tee’s it up, Past Captain Martin Campbell was the best of the 10 – 16 handicappers with a fine nett 68 as Stephen Moran’s nett 69 was the best of the 17+ handicappers. All three players have qualified for the end of season Monthly medal Final.
