Foyle’s Minor Cup team met City of Derry in the first round but after some tight matches the team lost out.
The Revive Active team met a strong Ballyliffin team in the first round but unfortunately they also lost.
Many thanks to Minor Cup team captain- Margaret McCarron, Revive Active team captain- Monica Smith and manager Faye McGrotty including everyone who represented Foyle in these competitions.
The club’s hopes now rest on Ann Fulton’s North West League team who’s campaign began this week when they took 1 away match against Ballybofey. Good luck to Ann and her team for the return match and further matches in the North West League competition.
Josephine Kelly along with Brendan Grimes represented the club in the Nine-Hole R&A Championship at Rockmount…. Good luck Josephine and Brendan.
Meanwhile Maureen Sheerin and Alison Wright will represent Foyle in the Peugeot Coronation Foursomes final at Massereene and Lady Captain Florence, Anne Hamilton and Ann McWilliams will represent the club in the Peggy Nelson final in Dunmurry.
