Results for 21st April Thursday Competition:
Today was the first qualifying competition of the season with preferred lies only on the fairways. Sixteen ladies played the 18 hole competition and there was no 9 hole entries. Denise Callan was today’s winner with a score of 34 points. Runner up was Faye McGrotty with 32 points after a break of tie with Ann Fulton.
Vice Captain Rose had a great score of 40 points but unfortunately she discovered after playing 2 holes that her entry fee was still in her pocket! It was a hard lesson learnt for poor Rose but I think we’ve all done it at sometime.
