The Annual Total Golf 2 Day Open took place last weekend with 194 cards taken out, with the competitors on Saturday getting the best of the conditions, the competition has a final’s day with the top 12 scores pro-ratio to entry on both days playing for the three overall prizes, seven competitors qualified on Saturday with the best score on the day 42 points coming from Kevin Henderson, five competitors qualified on Sunday with the best score on the day another 42 points coming from Kevin Thomas after a break of tie.
The final for the three overall prizes took place on Wednesday and it turned out to be a close contest with one point separating the top three finishers, Sean Meenan took top spot and a Set of Custom fit Irons with a fine score of 40 points, Scott Kennedy was the best of the two 39 points returns and in doing so won a Powacaddy Electric Trolley, Joe Bradley who must have been disappointed with his blank on hole sixteen as he finished third and received a Taylor Made Driver.
