Total Golf Senior & Junior Scratch Cup.
The Annual Total Golf Sponsored Senior & Junior Scratch Cup on Sunday last was well supported with most of the Clubs from the North West represented and also entries from further afield.
The scratch golfers dominated the event and after round one Ballyliffin’s Kealan Quigg led the way after returning an impressive level par 71. he lead by two shots from Foyle’s Damien Mc Kenna on 73 who was trying to defend the title he has held for the past two years, Omagh’s Liam Bresnahan lay third with a 75.
Round two saw Kealan add a two over par 73 to win the coveted Foyle Scratch Cup Title with a fine winning score of 144, Damien added a further 74 round for a 147 runner – up total, Stephen Martin returned the best second round score of one over par 72 to finish third on 151.
The Junior Section was very keenly contested as Scott Kennedy and Darragh Glynn finished tied on 155 with Scott getting the winners verdict virtue of his better 77 second round score.
