Wednesday’s Club Stableford was played in decent conditions with a very good entry taking part and Oran Canning who having taken a sabbatical from golf has come back with a renewed vigor for the game and after a period of practice while on holiday showed why practice is needed by producing a fine winning score of 40 points albeit virtue of his superior 22 points on the back nine with John A Lafferty who has been showing some fine form of late finished second after the tie break, Cormac Cassidy finished third on 39 points.
