Wednesday’s Monthly Medal was played in near perfect conditions on a course in excellent condition making for some excellent scoring, with one of Foyle’s young rising stars 9 handicapper Caolan Dunn producing a near flawless one over par round by covering the front 9 in one under par and coming home in two over par for a nett 62 to claim top spot in the low category, but the category one players excelled with four players under par, with the best round of the day by Kealan Quigg on 3 under followed by Dunfanaghy Scratch Cup Winner Stephen Martin on 2 under with Shane Mc Clean and Martin Kivelehan returning 1 under par rounds.
